Data & Methodology
The AI Career Threat Index methodology weights three factors per role:
- Task automation potential — what % of the role's core tasks AI can already perform with high reliability
- AI tool maturity in the field — how widely-deployed and proven the relevant AI capabilities are
- Industry adoption rate — what % of employers in the field are actively integrating AI for those tasks
Scores are reviewed quarterly. Roles are split into three risk bands: low (0–35), medium (36–65), and high (66–100). Last review: Q2 2026.
